How to use Concrete Column Calculator?
Concrete Column Calculator will provide you the wet as well as dry volume of concrete of given number of rectangular and circular column. Concrete Column Calculator is very easy to use. Just follow the steps below.
Step 1:- Input the dimension of rectangular and circular column i.e length, width, height and diameter.
Step2:- If you have rectanguler column then select rectangular and if you have circular column then select circular by clicking on the side arrow.
Step3:- Input the quantity of rectangular or circular column.

How to calculate column concrete Quantity?
Volume of concrete in a column depends upon the shape and size of the column. Let us calculate volume of rectangular and circular column step by step.
A) Volume of rectangular concrete column
Let, Length of column = (l) = 1 meter
Width of column = (w) = 1 meter
Height of column = (h) = 5 meter
Now,
Step1:- Calculate volume of concrete of column
Wet Volume = l x w x h = 1 x 1 x 5 = 5 m3
Step2:- Dry Volume = Wet volume x 1.54 = 5 x 1.54 = 7.7 m3
(Note* – Dry volume of concrete is always greater than wet volume by 50% to 54%)
B) How to calculate concrete for circular column?
Let, Radius of column = (r) = 1 meter
Height of column = (h) = 5 meter
Now,
Step1:- Calculate volume of concrete of column
Wet Volume = 3.14 x r x r x h = 3.14 x 1 x 1 x 5 = 15.7 m3
Step2:- Dry Volume = Wet volume x 1.54 = 15.7 x 1.54 = 24.1 m3
(Note* – Dry volume of concrete is always greater than wet volume by 50% to 54%)
Hence in this way we can calculate the volume of concrete in a rectangular and circular column.
