Input all the values in the input section of the Calculator.Choose the unit of all the dimension like, length, width, and thickness of slab in different unit like mm, cm, inch, meter, foot etc.Provide the ratio of Cement : Sand : Aggregate according to the grade of concrete.Input the cost of different materials per meter cube according to your Region/State.Input the volume of tractorss or tripper by which you will bring materials for concreteslab.Click on the calculate button to get all the required materails of the concrete slab.Enjoy The Calculator. Concrete slab calculator i.e Concrete slab cost calculator helps you to calculate the total cost of slab of required dimensions. This calculator provide flexibility to user to provide quantity of materials and unit rate of materials according to their area or state. How to calculate concrete slab? At first, convert all the dimensions of the slab ie. length, width, and thickness should be converted into a single unit. After that multiply them and calculate the volume of concrete. This is wet volume, we have to convert it into Dry volume. So, to do so, we have to add an extra 50% to 54% of wet concrete to get dry volume. Numerical Let us we have the dimension of slab, Length = 4 meter, width = 12 feet, Thickness = 4 inch. Calculate the concrete for slab of given dimension. Solution, Length = 4 meter Width = 12 feet = 3.6576 meter Thickness = 4 inch = 0.1016 meter Now, Volume = Length x Width x Thickness Volume = 4 x 3.6576 x 0.1016 Volume = 4 x 3.6576 x 0.1016 Wet Volume = 1.4864 m3 (This is wet volume) Dry volume = Wet volume x 1.54 = 1.4864 x 1.54 = 2.2891 m3 Hence, in this way we can calculate volume of concrete slab. How much gravel under concrete slab calculator? Now, in the above calculation, we have a dry volume of 2.2891 m3. Now to get the volume of gravel or aggregate in slab, we need to choose the grade of concrete i.e ratio of cement, sand, and aggregate/gravel. Let us choose, Cement : Sand : Aggregate = 1 : 2 : 4 Now, we have total coefficient of volume = 1+2+4 = 7 So, volume of gravel = (4/7) x Dry Volume = 1.302 m3 (4/7) is taken because we have 4 parts of aggregate in concrete. Similarly, we can calculate the volume of sand and cement required in concrete. How to calculate concrete slab cost? After calculating dry volume of concrete, we have to calculate the volume of sand, volume of aggregate and weight of cement. Now, multiply the volume of different materials with unit rate of materials per meter cube or per Kg. For example we have, 3 m3 of Sand, 5 m3 of aggregate and 3 bags of cement and we have to calaculate concrete slab cost. Let, The cost of aggregate be Rs.300 per meter cube, The cost of sand is Rs.200 per meter cube and Rs. 370 per bags of cement. So, Total concrete slab cost will be, Total Cost = Cost of aggregate + Cost of Sand + Cost of Cement Total Cost = 3 x 300 + 5 x 200 + 3 x 370 = Rs. 3010 Share this:FacebookEmailTelegramWhatsApp Related Sharing Is Caring:
